Lead our financial operations to new heights as the Director of Shared Services
In this role, you’ll take the reins of our financial transactions, ensuring that every payment in and out of the company is handled precisely and efficiently.
In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring they run smoothly and accurately while optimizing cash flow and financial reporting.
By guiding and mentoring your team, you’ll implement strategies that streamline operations, reduce errors, and strengthen relationships with vendors and customers, all while maintaining the organization’s financial health.
- Provide strategic guidance on financial decision-making.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Monitor and analyze cash flow to optimize working capital management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in accounts payable/receivable functions.
- Implement controls to mitigate financial risks associated with accounts payable/receivable activities.
- Manage and lead a team of accounts payable and accounts receivable professionals.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and clients to ensure smooth transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
- Resolve escalated issues related to payments, billing, and collections.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
- Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of the accounts payable/receivable team.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to accounts payable/receivable.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable/receivable management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounts payable/receivable management.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong understanding of cash flow management and working capital optimization.
- Experience in process improvement and ERP system implementation.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Reconciliation skills in accounts payable/receivables management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detailed oriented in accounts payable and receivables management.
- Prepare receivables cash forecast weekly and monitor payables budget.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is not required but advantageous.
