As Director/Senior Director of Shared Services & Compliance, you will be responsible for ensuring that shared services within the organization, including billing, credentialing, IT/security and legal vendors, adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. You will manage and collaborate with various teams across these departments to develop and implement compliance processes, monitor activities, and provide guidance on all operational and compliance related matters. Your role will be pivotal in promoting a culture of compliance and mitigating risks across the organization.
This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer. This is a full time position with the option to be either hybrid in New York City or fully remote. This is a benefits-eligible position and the base salary range is $150,000 – $210,000 as part of a competitive compensation package.
- Management of compliance, billing, credentialing and IT/security functions and associated employees
- Develop and implement compliance monitoring procedures for shared services operations.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

- Policy Development and Implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and update compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure that policies are effectively communicated and understood by employees, and oversee their implementation and enforcement.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Identify potential compliance risks associated with shared services activities.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and controls to address identified risks effectively.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with stakeholders across different departments, including finance, human resources, legal, and IT, to address compliance-related issues.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance matters, providing guidance and support to relevant stakeholders.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in healthcare compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, finance, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., JD, MBA) preferred.
- Proven experience in compliance, audit, or risk management roles within a corporate environment, preferably in a shared services setting.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to shared services operations
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory and security requirements and assess their impact on business processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
