Under limited supervision, assumes full responsibility for the Baskin Supply Chain interfacing with both Inspire Shared Services and the Baskin Robbins Brand cross-functional team on core and new business support. Other areas of responsibility include supplier management, planning, production, inventory management, and distribution oversight for core and limited-time offerings.

  • Enable the Baskin-Robbins brand and its franchisees to maximize the value efficiently and effectively from our supply chain through sustainable product cost and availability
  • Develop/execute launch strategies for new product(s) or advertising efforts against core product promotions
  • Implement product and supplier contingency plans to react
  • Support cost-savings, cost-reduction opportunities, and sustainability efforts
  • Contribute ideas for cost savings initiatives within owned categories
  • Work with the appropriate champion in support of department/company initiatives
  • Support dry and frozen market basket budgeting and data tracking
  • Minimizes risk of supply disruptions
  • Identifies supply and supplier issues. Analyzes information to assess root causes, improvement opportunities, and associated risks.
  • Develop solutions and gain consensus to resolve supply issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Build strategic relationships
  • Build relationships with supplier working team /contacts
  • Builds collaborative relationships with the Shared Services Core Team / Directors and Franchisees
  • Active participant and presenter in Brand/Franchisee joint committees that support different areas of the business. (Marketing/Profitability/Strategic Initiatives)
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Participate in S&OP process and coordinates supplier’s production to meet demand
  • Monitor supplier performance and participates in supplier business reviews with Shared Services team
  • Utilize project management tools and disciplines to execute project processes, including risk management, issues resolution, change management, and document management
  • Lead high-performing team
  • Supervise, coaches, and develops the members of the Brand Supply team in both the frozen and dry goods categories to ensure project deliverables are completed in a quality and timely manner
  • Ensure quality execution of the performance management process and personal developmental plans
  • Manage operating budget
  • Monitor and report project status to the team, sponsors, and leadership
  • Have an adaptable mentality to support multiple brands if needed
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management

Education And Experience Qualifications

  • 4-Year Degree in a relevant field required
  • Master’s degree and professional certification such as CPSM preferred
  • 5+ years in supply chain, procurement, and or manufacturing
  • Experience in management of vendor/supplier relationships

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS Or ABILITIES

  • Experience in program management
  • Understand and function effectively in a team environment
  • Proven track record of success in leadership positions
  • Restaurant / Food Service experience preferred
