- Drive the Transformation in the EM Supply Chain function in collaboration with the EM VP of Supply Chain.
- Act as the finance thought partner to the EM Product Supply VP and be a key influential member of their Leadership Team
- Elevate capabilities and best practices across the EM supply Chain organization – PSAs and logistics analysts.
- Lead and drive implementation of cost savings and working capital initiatives to unlock the full potential in operations and supply chain
- Enhance and deploy analytical capabilities in the EM supply chain organization, leveraging benchmarking, should-cost modelling and emerging tools and systems arising out of the Aurora program.
- Partner with EM FPA team & Clusters CFOs to ensure the inputs for the EM Supply Chain forecasting processes are robust and with appropriate insight and commentary.
- Provide explanation and analysis on actual results and support or recommend remediation plans on any emerging issues to ensure business results are still met/exceeded.
- Support all Cost Transformation processes to drive continuous improvement and lowering the cost base.
- Be a COE for evaluation of capital projects to ensure appropriate prioritization and ROI is at or better than benchmarks.
- Provide analysis and support to ensure EM footprint and network is optimized.
- Drive working capital improvement with a focus on DIO and DPO
- Ensure application of efficient and effective financial and operating controls and report whenever Corporate Financial Policies or instructions are not being followed or appear inappropriate
- An experienced leader and financial executive with appropriate industry experience, preferably in FMCG and with a proven strong track record of driving value in Supply Chain operations.
- An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
- Possess sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus
- A well organized and self-directed individual who has commitment to operating in and building strong teams.
- An articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills and both cultural and organization sensitivity with proven ability to work impactfully across diverse cultures and organizations.
- Have the confidence and capabilities to work with all levels of leadership up to and including Executive Level Senior Leaders.do so in a professional manner.
- Masters qualified, 10-15 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional certification (ACCA,CIMA,CMA or similar (MBA or other globally recognized)
- Strong communication skills and English Language is critical
- Confident presenting and communication capability
- Collaborative and able to build relationships across a diverse organization.
