I. Responsible for managing India Payroll & Benefits platform
II. Candidate must have prior experience in managing employee payroll processing OR finance services delivery platform.
III. Must possess extensive knowledge of compensation accounting, regulatory and related compliance topics.
Strategic Management of Payroll & Benefits platform, including but not limited to:
- Processing and Administration of Payroll, Employee Benefits and Reimbursements
- Delivery of aforementioned HR Ops services in line with SLA to specific BNPP entities
- Supervise the Payroll & Benefits team by constantly improving quality, productivity and timeliness
- Build strategies for employee benefits and formulate related policies
- Coordinate with HR front office and external service providers
- Accounting & reconciliation, Statutory actions and Audits
- Stakeholder management and governance
Service Provider Liaison:
- Interact with Payroll & Benefits service providers/vendors on a regular basis
- Monitor accuracy and quality of vendor input/output by putting in place appropriate controls
- Review service level and share the feedback with the service provider
- Ensure appropriate information flow to and from with service providers
- Provide inputs on improvisation of overall vendor services
Employee Interaction:
- Interact with Employees on Payroll & Benefits related matters
- Address employee grievance, resolve queries and problems
- Promote consumption of employee benefits by organizing campaigns, helpdesks, etc.
- Give visibility of features associated with employee compensation related services
Risk Management & Control:
- Anticipate risks, Comply with internal guidelines and external regulations
- Be the key interlocutor in responding to auditors
- Highlight variances, defaults, anomalies, etc. to the top management in a timely manner
- Ensure implementation of operational controls for Payroll & Benefits
- Ensure that risk framework for Payroll & Benefits is robust and all controls are duly anticipated and implemented
Internal Accounting and Payments:
- To ensure accuracy, correctness and appropriateness of transaction processing
- Peruse statements and regularly check various accounts and ensure completion of transactions
- Liaise with IT for transaction processing
- Ensure reconciliation of accounts and transactions basis risks foreseen
Team Management:
- Maintain a high performing team for payroll & benefits platform at all times
- Groom, guide and develop employees
- Set objectives, Review performance and Provide feedback
- Counsel on career opportunities
Regulatory, Compliance and Employee Relations:
- Liaise with legal, audit, tax departments whenever required
- Keep abreast on changes occurring on internal guidelines and external regulatory framework time-to-time
Process efficiency and Continuous improvement:
- Inculcate a culture of ‘continuous improvement’ by adopting best practices, systems and tools
- Plan and execute initiatives to improve process efficiency ongoing basis
Technical Knowledge & Skills
Mandatory:
- Leadership Skills
- Expert knowledge on Payroll & Benefit topics, related Regulatory Acts, etc. /OR/ Extensive knowledge gained through managing finance services delivery platforms
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred:
- Knowledge of HR Processes
- Understanding of offshoring business
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, WORD, Powerpoint) , Microsoft Project and SharePoint
Specific Qualifications (if Required)
MBA in finance / CA
BE /BTECH
Post graduate with relevant experience
