The Director, Visium Platform role is a core part of the Claims Cost Solutions (CCS) Product Shared Services group responsible for working closely across the product management, operations, and technology teams to ensure execution and delivery of initiatives focused on ensuring CCS & enterprise readiness for the Visium platform. This role is designed to ensure that the roadmaps for any and all CCS solutions that have needs of the Visium platform are supported from a platform functionality standpoint. Specifically, the Product Director will be responsible for enabling the cross-product technology solutions to enhance the service experience for internal stakeholders across CCS and the enterprise. Key duties of this role include balancing roadmap and platform needs for the near-term and the long-term.
- Ensure all product roadmap platform dependencies are defined and clearly communicated with timing delivery for the CCS suite of products
- Drive strategy and development of the Visium platform, partnered with technology and product management stakeholders
- Partner closely with operations, IT, and product management on potential platform migrations: assess business cases, perform gap analyses, plan for timing on delivery
- Prepare and communicate program level status reporting to key constituents, stakeholders, and executive team
- Actively contribute new ideas and support ad hoc projects, including time-sensitive requests
- Accurately scopes out projects, sets objectives and goals, develops schedules, measures performance against goals, and evaluates results
- Responsible for creating and maintaining any collateral documentation such as release notes, training guides, etc
- Thought leadership market communication (e.g., articles, webinars, posts) to help sell Zelis’ vision on why the integration of the member, provider, and payer is key to a well delivered overall solution
- Mentor staff and team members to ensure alignment with Zelis goals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements
- Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to Zelis standards regarding privacy
- 10+ years of product management or product delivery experience
- 5+ years of experienced healthcare industry business analyst with expertise in managing technology, particularly around claims pricing/adjudication, editing, EDI, APIs
- Experience with UI and UX, platform management, and system migrations
- A track record of success conceptualizing, developing, and bringing to market innovative solutions
- A hands-on leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment
- Creative problem-solving skills, leveraging insights and input from other parts of an organization
- Demonstrated leadership ability with cross-functional teams, knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network
- Ability to think and act strategically as well as execute tactically with bias toward action
- Excellent analytical skills with data and analytics related solutions
- Strong organization and project / process management skills
- Ability to manage projects simultaneously and achieve goals
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment in a positive and supportive manner with strong interpersonal skills; brings an ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization
