Ensure profitable business growth through the local representation of the Global Division. Oversee country operations management of the Local Division and Local Business Units, including Marketing and Sales, Operations (Engineering and/or Project Management), Supply Chain, Quality, and Operational Excellence. Focus and scope of accountabilities will vary by Division
Strategy leadership
- Implements the Global Division and Business Unit strategy and ensures business development and profitable growth in local markets. Provides input to Global Division and Business Unit strategy.
Performance targets
- Ensures development of performance targets in line with global targets and ensures achievement through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
Organic growth
- Ensures profitable business growth in the Country by maximizing geographic coverage and channel penetration, as well as focusing on industry segments in the domestic market.
Shared services
- Optimizes business on a regional scale, taking advantage of the Group’s local and global resources.
Customer relations
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) & integrity
- Implements HSE and business compliance standards and regulations in the Country on behalf of the Division. Personally lives the Company values and Group standards. Supports the Global Business Unit in their Local Business Unit responsibility for the same.
People leadership and development
- Ensures (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
- Should have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Electrical).
- Minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience with at least 3 years in leadership positions.
- Work experience in complex applications across industry verticals. Significant work experience, preferred to have exposure to major industries like Gas & Oil and Power Generation etc. industries in Taiwan and solid commercial and financial experience.
- Strategic leadership skills. Strong entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and senior executive presence
- Fluent English
