The role is responsible for driving and supporting the successful implementation of business change and transformation activities. This role focuses on the people-side of change which includes changes to business processes, systems, technology, job roles and organizational structures.
- Supporting the Senior Manager; Change in driving the strategic development of change initiatives and the Change Capability agenda for Global Shared Services.
- Supporting the Senior Manager; Change, Global Process Owners, PMO Team, Operations in delivering and embedding strategic change initiatives across Global Shared Services.
- Developing and delivering the change approach including plans, tools, materials, and measures, measured in terms of adoption, utilization, stabilization, and associate/stakeholder experience for change initiatives.
- Working with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans. Creating stakeholder plans, change impact analysis and business readiness plans to mitigate or address concerns.
- Acts as general resource within the Global Shared Services organization to develop appropriate organizational readiness support for projects.
- Creating executive leadership materials and communications, supporting the development of stakeholder messages, newsletters, and other communication materials as needed.
- Leading delivery of comms & change plans that minimize resistance and maximize engagement for change initiatives.
- Determining appropriate governance and approval processes to ensure updates, tools and materials are aligned with Kohler’s Cultural Beliefs as well global, regional, and local needs.
Priorities
- Support the ongoing refinement of GSS Change Capability and developing a compelling change story to engage and inspire business leaders, key stakeholders.
- Provide Change Management support on the strategic project roadmap for Global Shared Services, enabling the delivery of core projects.
- Support the ongoing development of the Global Shared Services brand, communications, and engagement strategy.
- Acting as a role model for Change, representing, coaching, and supporting colleagues across Global Shared Services.
Accountabilities
- Determines communication and change methodologies for key projects within Global Shared Services.
- Ensures consistency in communication and change management practices using change methodologies, tools, processes, and capabilities.
- Provides change management and communications expertise and drives the execution of best practice.
- Supports building change management capability across GSS organization.
- Develops and oversees execution of communication/change management plans that minimize resistance and maximize engagement on the GSS Transformation initiatives.
- Guides GSS colleagues on business engagement for Change initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring that the organization is properly prepared, leaders and people are engaged and have awareness and preparation of the changes, resistance and risk associated with change is effectively managed, measures of change effectiveness are defined and agreed and that the benefits are realized, and solution is adopted by the business.
- Proactively identifies and manages change & comms risks and issues with the potential to impact the implementation of GSS Transformation initiatives.
- Supports the development of stakeholder messages, newsletters, online articles and other communications materials as required.
- 8 years + experience delivering change and transformation management solutions for complex inter-related global programs.
- Experience in Project Management/Change Management is desired.
- Desired experience: Expertise and awareness of industry communication / change management methodologies and tools; ability to leverage different methodologies and tools as necessary to address business needs.
- Proven change management expertise that integrates program, cultural and business needs.
- Experience working in global, multicultural environments and understanding of cultural awareness.
- Proven business acumen with ability to identify and proactively address risks and issues and proactively preparing plans to mitigate these.
- Ability to operationalize strategic transformation plans and drive the change agenda to deliver results.
- Proven collaboration and relationship management knowledge, skills, and abilities to establish credibility and confidence with associates and stakeholders.
- Ability to formulate and articulate a perspective, presenting it in a way that enables understanding, engagement and buy in.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong communication, listening, facilitation, presentation, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and comfortable with ambiguity in a complex organizational environment.
