Our collaborative culture encourages cross-functional development opportunities and provides space for individual interests. As EMEA Regional Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in leading the EMEA Payroll team to ensure first-class support and services for our colleagues across the region.

  • Strategy and standard process development to implement payroll in all countries in the region (e.g. Germany, UK, France, Switzerland) precisely, on time and in an audit-proof manner.
  • Work with the Director Global Payroll to ensure compliance with local laws and document processes for financing taxes, net salaries and third-party payments.
  • Partnership with Payroll Systems Analyst to ensure data quality and timely processing through integrations.
  • Creation of standard processes for payroll in coordination with HR, finance departments and regional guidelines.
  • Defining a process for annual accounts and their communication to reduce employee inquiries.
  • Control of tax-free exceptions (e.g. student visas) and the correct inclusion of all taxable income.
  • Introduction of a shared service model to optimize and standardize all payroll processes.
  • Implementation of visual management tools to transparently display areas of improvement and control limits.
  • Creation and implementation of salary calendars to optimize regional payroll resources.
  • Identification of gaps and continuous improvement of payroll processes.
  • Ensuring that terminations and wage garnishments are handled in accordance with the law.
  • Develop strategies for government reporting and compliance processes.

What you bring with you

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence in communicating with managers, HR and finance departments as well as the ability to build a clear communication structure.
  • Leadership experience to effectively lead a remote team while providing operational support.
  • Experience with payroll systems such as ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo and eTime.
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and act in a solution-oriented manner.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and the ability to drive change.
  • Organizational talent with strong time management skills and a results-oriented approach.

Who you are

  • Completed studies in finance or HR with at least 7 years of experience in payroll.
  • Practical experience in regional countries such as Germany, Great Britain, France or Switzerland.
  • Knowledge of English and German is required; French, Dutch or Slovak is an advantage.
  • Certifications in payroll at a regional level are an advantage.
