- Provide local management for a 20+ person Engineering team supporting primarily US-based business units developing and producing critical products for the semiconductor capital equipment industry
- Support hiring and onboarding of new staff for planned organizational growth
- Manage an Engineering Shared Services team responsible for Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Documentation Control, Printed Circuit Board design
- Ensure teams maintain focus on quality and meet schedule commitments; track monthly team productivity and provide regular reports on activity
- Assist in identifying and resolving issues impacting team productivity, including issues with tools, training, provisioning and communication
- Provide recommendations for organizational improvement and oversee continuous improvement activities
- Coordinate with sponsoring business to address evolving needs, expanding the technical scope that can be supported by the team over time
- Maintain and manage the department budget, assist in annual planning
- 10+ years experience in a similar role managing a multidisciplinary technical team
- A degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering discipline
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
