As Finance Director at Felicitatem Investments you have a broad responsibility, you act as a decisive leader within the organization and you help to further professionalize the processes and systems.

  • Formulating and establishing strategic policy with fellow directors through input of financial content, sharp analyzes and insights
  • A key role in the realization of strategic plans towards clear operational financial goals, where you maintain an overview, identify risks and make adequate decisions
  • Ensure a healthy financial position of all entities in the short and long term; where appropriate, arrange for (re)financing
  • Thinking in terms of value creation, sees opportunities to organize the business more efficiently and seeks collaboration in this regard
  • Further professionalization of the finance organization: sharpening reporting, KPIs, internal control, management information and risk management
  • Drawing up and coordinating forecast, budget and multi-year plans with the various stakeholders within the various entities and fellow directors
  • Approving and reconciling important financial contracts/transactions
  • You develop and guide the finance team into a true partner of the business
  • You ensure that the financial information is reliable and is delivered to the DGA on time
  • Part of the M&A team for new acquisitions and ensuring that these new companies collaborate successfully with other units
  • Daily check and analyze expenses/costs and act accordingly
  • Maintaining external contacts including the bank, tax authorities, accountant, etc.

You have:

  • An academic level of education in business economics or finance, preferably supplemented with a postdoctoral RC or RA course
  • At least 10-15 years of demonstrable and successful managerial experience, of which at least 5 years in an ultimately responsible finance position
  • International experience preferably in a Commercial Service Organization
  • Affinity with creating a “modern” finance function. Optimizing the provision of information to optimize commercial results and growth
  • Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written; good knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Understands not only the figures but also the processes in the business, delves into the details, strategy and operational matters
