The Corporate Services Division in the Public Service Commission is seeking a dynamic, strategic, inclusive and outcomes-focused leader for the exciting position of Executive Director, Corporate Services.

  • Strategic and operational planning;
  • Financial and operational management;
  • Strategic policy development and oversight;
  • Privacy, access and records management;
  • Corporate planning;
  • Performance measurement for operational effectiveness;
  • Reporting and accountability measurements; and
  • An integral member of the Executive Leadership Team.

  • Extensive senior management experience that enables you to lead, direct and manage a diverse inter-disciplinary team of professionals;
  • Expertise in corporate services including the design and implementation of policy development, financial, performance management and strategic planning;
  • Superior interpersonal skills characterized by effective verbal and written communication, active listening and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships;
  • Results-driven team player and accountability for results;
  • Proven ability to lead and collaborate with others, with a reputation for integrity and a focus on service excellence and innovation;

Typically, the knowledge and competencies for this position would have been acquired through:

  • An educational background in, or equivalent to, a bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce or managerial studies;
  • Experience in strategic leadership roles; and
  • Significant experience in a combination of business planning, operations management, enterprise risk management, and/or managing human, financial and information resources;
