Join our People, Communication & Workplaces enabling division that provides human resources services, communication, workplace services and intergovernmental services including government relations, ministerial and parliamentary services. Reporting to the Deputy Secretary, People, Communication & Workplaces, you will be an integral part of our newly established Division Leadership Team. In this critical role you will ensure we have the basics right in terms of providing efficient, effective and reliable shared services to our internal and external customers. You will lead a large team to provide exceptional service delivery, you will build critical partnerships with other internal Transport branches, you will improve, innovate and standardise processes such as:
- First line enquiry and transaction support, inclusive of the management of self service capabilities.
- Fleet and travel services.
- Financial management services and support.
- Administrative services relating to facilities management.
- Payroll and leave management.
- Supplier contract management activities.
- Management of employee data and records.
- You are seasoned professional and executive leader who can drive reform and is looking for an opportunity to take the shared services strategy to the next level in Transport for NSW.
- You will have demonstrated experience building, leading, motivating and setting strategic team direction.
- You bring a strong understanding of the value that a shared services team creates for an organisation and have experience engendering this belief within your team.
- You are experienced in providing the highest professional levels of service delivery while constantly working to improve operations, systems and practices.
- You bring strong experience operating in a complex environment that is subject to ongoing change.
- You champion a customer-centric service ethos, and bring deep experience in operations.
- You will understand how to build, shape and solve outcomes.
- You will understand the balance of addressing customer requirements whilst adhering to other regulatory, policy, government and operational conditions.
- You will possess strong commercial acumen and have experience designing and implementing business strategies, plans, and have delivered a service transformation.
- You have strong ability to articulate complex concepts and put forward compelling arguments and rationales to all levels and types of audiences.
- You are an influencer with a strong strategic mindset.
