Gunnebo Entrance Control seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Finance and Operations Director to lead a newly formed internal financial shared services function and other functional administration/back office activities for multiple entities across GEC Group globally. This senior role will be instrumental in driving effective financial management and administrative excellence to support our mission of creating a safer world through innovative entrance control solutions.
- Manage the delivery of Shared Service Centre activities day to day including initially Financial Transactional content followed by Controlling activities and later other functional back office services
- Monitoring performance against KPIs and handling disputes and issues where performance is off track with the customer base (being Regional Controllers in the GEC business)
- Developing the team and being the point of contact as the Functional Expert on site for guidance and coaching with the team members on accounting and financial management skills
- Managing the Transition Manager to bring further content from Operating Businesses in Entrance Control to India and creating a center of excellence for all disciplines
- Taking the lead on site as the head of the office to include a Sales function for India as well as BI and Data team and ultimate responsible for the location
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies, implementing effective financial controls and risk management practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
This role will require a deep understanding of the finance landscape, strong leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and practices.
- Demonstrated experience in financial strategy development and execution in a multinational environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in financial software and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is essential.
