We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to manage our Shared Service Center and oversee the business’s day-to-day financial operations.

  • Ensure invoices are properly approved and coded in the general ledger.
  • Monitor and balance cash flows into and out of a business to meet obligations and optimise investment.
  • Coordinate with external financial, compliance and tax auditors.
  • Create and monitor company policies and internal controls, especially spending controls, to safeguard company assets and reduce fraud.
  • Assist in the budget, including incorporating historical data.
  • Administer loan agreements for company borrowings and collecting monies owed to the company from intercompany customers.
  • Develop financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with local law, tax provisions and relevant industry and financial regulations.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to guide decision-making.
  • Identify efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.
  • Mentor and manage the accounting and financial staff.
  • Advise company managers on operations activities based on knowledge of the underlying business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • 7-10 years of related work experience.
  • Exceptional knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local statutory accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
