As Financial Controller, you will be a key member of the team, based in Utrecht. You will work closely with the various production sites and the head office in Bangkok. Your main areas of responsibility will be broad and diverse.
- Accounting process and the consolidation and reporting of financial data.
- You have full control over the accounting process and the consolidation and reporting of financial data. From balance sheet reconciliations, monthly reconciliations of accounts payable to accounts receivable and filing of VAT returns. You also assist with audits and of course you are the main user of SAP and the point of contact for improvements. You will report monthly results and assist with monthly forecasts and the annual budget process.
- Manage daily operations.
- Working closely with shared services in Bangkok, you will manage daily operations. Booking supplier invoices and personnel expenses, intercompany payment process, oversee customer billing, cash collection, responsible for payment process for supplier invoices expenses and general ledger entries.
- Support the Finance Director in setting up and implementing European Shared Services:
- Responsible for setting up daily activities related to i-Tail Shared Services (sister company) with the team in Bangkok. Support the implementation of the accounting system.
- Analysis and costing.
- Variance analysis and providing financial insights. updating reports for commercial teams and supporting the Finance Director with the costing process
- You have work experience in a similar position with core reporting, preferably in an international work environment.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree. Graduate studies in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or related fields are good options.
- You are fluent in English and preferably one other EU language.
- Good command of Excel and knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills and able to work with tight deadlines.
- You are based in the Netherlands or plan to relocate before starting work.
