As a Director of GBSO Operations and FLER (Finance Legal Entity Responsible ) in Lonza India you will provide the financial shared services to the Business and Operations (mfg. plant) in the process and cost-efficient manner. Being the FLER of the country, ensure the legal entity finance to be fully compliance with local statutory requirement and Lonza Group standard.
- Lead the BSO country team to provide the financial services to the businesses in the country covering the process of R2R, S2P and O2C. Meet the KPI objectives defined by GBSO.
- Support GBSO global function to drive for process standardization, automation and streamline.
- Participate the global projects (eg SAP system upgrade) or provide the support in the project leading by global function (eg the Real Estate disposal).
- Being the FLER and the Board member, take the overall responsibility on the financial compliance of the LEs. Be the primary contact with the external auditor at the country level.
- Be responsible for the tax and treasury operations of the LEs. Coordinate with corporate tax and treasury function to roll out the group policy and ensure the compliance.
- Be part of GBSO APAC leadership team, jointly create the synergies by leveraging the expertise in India to provide the support across the country teams.
- As the overall coordinator for Internal Control System, manage the ICS process to enhance the control quality.
- Focus on team capability development to build up the talent pipeline and to create the career opportunities for the potentials.
- Continuously improve the satisfactory level of the internal customers via the partnering with the business.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with a professional certification in accounting (ACCA preferred).
- Over 10 years of experience in multinational corporations (MNCs) with shared service center (SSC) operations.
- Proficiency in SAP is essential, with experience in S4/HANA considered an advantage.
- A proven and transparent track record as a finance professional is required.
