Tower Lead is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational management, and direction to the SSC for efficient, accurate, timely and smooth delivery of Finance SSC operations across P2P, O2C, R2R, Direct and Indirect Tax with a team size of more than fifty employees. The Tower lead is responsible for overseeing the entire range of Finance shared services operations and ensuring the finance SSC meets the needs of internal stakeholders plays a key role in establishing a culture of service excellence, quality and continuous improvement.
- Develop a clear vision and objectives for the Finance SSC and align the SSC’s goals with the overall organizational strategy.
- Continuously enhance the scope of services to be provided by the Finance SSC by identifying business needs and understanding functions or processes that may be centralized and delivered through the Finance SSC, by evaluating factors such as cost-effectiveness, scalability, and the potential for standardization and process optimization.
- Oversee the operations of the Finance SSC, ensuring on-time and quality delivery of services to internal stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders, monitor and drive performance against SLA targets.
- Oversee development and management of budgets for shared services functions, optimize resource allocation and control expenses.
- Oversee regular audits and quality assurance checks to uphold the accuracy and integrity of SSC operations.
- Stay updated on emerging finance technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization’s finance function.
- Ensure effective communication channels are established to address inquiries, resolve issues and provide timely updates on service delivery.
- Manage and optimize costs associated with the Finance SSC, identifying opportunities for savings and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, enhance service delivery and increase stakeholder satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing appropriate controls and monitoring mechanisms.
- Collaborate with internal as well as external audit and compliance teams to facilitate audits and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of finance processes and track progress in process improvement initiatives.
- Develop change management plans and communication strategies to effectively manage the transition to new finance processes and systems.
- Build a high-performing team by providing inputs around recruitment, training, and provide continuous guidance, mentoring, and support to the SSC workforce.

Experience:
- 10-15 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing industry / Corporate office for finance SSC.
Qualifications:
- CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) or related field experience

- SAP ECC / S4 HANA.
