The Lead, Finance Shared Services will provide direct financial, planning, strategic and analytical support to financial leaders of the Shared Services team, including, but not limited to, the leaders of Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Corporate Planning, Corporate Development, and Corporate Strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide G&A forecast, actuals and variance on monthly, quarterly, annual basis for Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Corporate Planning, Corporate Development, and Corporate Strategy.
- Prepare month-end actual results for all of the Shared Services areas to facilitate the financial month-end review process.
- Interface with Leadership of the Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Corporate Planning, Corporate Development, and Corporate Strategy to translate operational activities into timely and structured financial forecasts.
- Work closely with finance leaders of Shared Service operational teams to maintain a consolidated view of RCL’s Shared Services actual and planned general, administrative, operational and capital expenses.
- Improve and implement Shared Services financial procedures and standards as identified or requested by the Shared Service Finance leaders.
- Manage relationships with business area financial staff to ensure timely and accurate communication of changes to plans and forecasts.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis report findings on a timely manner, ensuring that risks and issues are reviewed and resolved in collaboration with internal and external constituents.
- Provide support, guidance, and training on the financial aspects of a project.
- Prepare and review ad-hoc analysis of capital projects, business areas performance, expenditures, and project scope, as required.
- Audit areas as variance, complexity and risk require or as directed by supervisor; escalate items that require additional diligence from RCL’s corporate staff.
- Consolidate the monthly Capital forecast for Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Corporate Planning, Corporate Development, and Corporate Strategy.
- Identify and assist in implementation of expense optimization opportunities.

FINANCIAL REPORTING AND FORECASTING RESPONSIBILITIES:
- G&A for Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Corporate Planning, Corporate Development, and Corporate Strategy.
- Results for all the Shared Services areas to facilitate the financial month-end review process.
- Shares Services running costs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or in a technical field at a minimum or significant and recent direct experience in FP&A role.
- Experience modeling complex financial or operational systems
- 5+ years related financial experience
- Experience with Essbase / EPM.
- Experience operating in a dynamic business environment

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thought to complex problems
- Experience with Essbase / EPM for forecasting/planning.
- Experience in financial modeling with Microsoft Excel a plus.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, organization, verbal & written communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented and able to apply critical thought to complex problems in order to identify optimal solutions.
- Must be able to work under tight timelines, prioritizing responsibilities as needed.
- Must work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to collaborate with peers and management; ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Accepts accountability and manages execution
- Must have ability to adapt to shifting priorities and align activities to meet organizational goals
