The client is a multinational mining company setting up its Finance Shared Services in the Philippines.

• Oversee the end-to-end accounting and finance process for the assigned region (APAC, EMEA, NAM, or LATAM).
• Responsible for financial reporting, including month-end and year-end closing, regulatory/statutory reports, and ensuring accuracy of internal and external reports.
• Responsible for regular review of the General Ledger.
• Monitor and control the Fixed Assets.
• Lead the annual statutory audit.
• Oversee intercompany transactions.
• Manage the accounting systems (ERP).
• Implement process improvements to internal workflow.
• Maintain & ensure adherence to accounting standards of the company & cascade to the employees
• General people management – establishing KPIs and monitoring performance, training and development.

• Completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in general accounting for a Shared Services company.
• At least 5 years of experience in people management.
• Must be a CPA.
• Must have experience in Finance and Accounting for any of the following regions: APAC, EMEA, NAM, LATAM
• Excellent English communication skills
• Plus if knowledgeable in Spanish, Bahasa, Mandarin, or other languages.
• Must have experience using Accounting systems (ERP).
• Must exhibit stakeholder management skills.
• Must be amenable to a hybrid setup in Pasig.
