- Responsible for accuracy and completeness of financial data at LE level, by applying Sanofi’s guidelines and accounting standards. Reviews and monitors technical accounting rules implementation, controls (SOX countries) and compliance.
- Responsible of both local and corporate financial reporting and sign off: accuracy and fair representation of the legal entity(ies) financial statements and corporate reporting (Solar), and all the underlying processes that support the generations of the financial statements (including SOX certifications and Audit of local statutory accounts).
- Responsible for reviewing, validating, and providing expertise on the accounting treatment of complex flows, contracts etc. to the internal stakeholders.
- Responsible for completing the quarterly accounts and limited reviews by the statutory auditor prior to publishing of the results to the stock exchanges.
- Preparation of Board and Audit Committee presentation on the quarterly and annual results along-with the variance analysis at entity level and press release notes and other disclosures required.
- Ensure CSR spend is aligned with Budget and the same is verified and approved by auditor.
- Responsible for Actuarial Liabilities and Spring Reporting and close coordination with People services.
- Accountable for Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting IFRS 16 and IND AS17.
- Support from Accounting and process to Commercial Operations, Toll sites and other Global activities housed in local affiliates.
- Part of change management and implement GBS initiatives or projects to align the GBS strategies.
- Collaboration and Interaction with stakeholders like P2P, CI2C, Tax, FBP, Supply Chain, Treasury etc.in order to have the global view of financial statements.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10-15 years hands on experience in Finance, Accounting or Accounts to Report organisation

Technical skills:
- Knowledge of IFRS, local GAAPs and Indian Stock Exchange listing requirements
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end A2R processes, statutory obligations and GSF organisation
- Asset Accounting Management
- Tax & Interco accounting
- Financial closing and reporting
- Ability to drive a compliance culture and rigor.
- Hands-on experience of SAP and satellite tools
- Digital acumen to leverage IT to drive process simplification.
Education: Master’s degree in finance or CA or CMA
Languages: Fluent in English
