A leading healthcare group based in Ho Chi Minh city; Vietnam is calling applications for a Finance Operations Director.

About the Finance Operations Director Role:

The Finance and Operations Director will play a crucial role in building a shared services for all business in the country. Reporting directly to the Group CFO.

• Leads and manages day to day operational activities of finance shared services centre which includes general ledger, asset management, cash management, order management, billing, credit management, accounts payable
• Group accounting and tax: you will oversee policy development for accounting, tax, financial standards manual, treasury
• Revenue cycle management: policy development, process management.
• Recruit and train your own team
• Promotes and maintains responsibility and overall accountability for the internal control environment, accurate transactional processing in compliance (e.g. Quality Control), and accurate, timely financial data
• Responsible for creating, maintaining, reviewing, and reporting KPIs to monitor service delivery
• Leads and manages the technical and interpersonal skills training requirements for the finance team members
• Leads and manages the business process improvement activities within the finance shared services
• Leads and manages the finance shared services month-end, quarterly, and year-end close activities in accordance with the corporate financial planning and reporting calendar
• Supports development of and enforces compliance with accounting and/or company policies
• Support internal, external, and other regulatory audit requirements
• Builds and maintains relationships with business partners and process owners

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

• Minimum degree of BA, BBA or equivalent degree in finance or accounting
• 10+ years’ experience in a financial role with seven years in a managerial role
• Previous experience in a shared services delivery role within a global company
• Previous experience building and expanding global shared service functions
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people
• Demonstrated managerial courage
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills
• Demonstrated ERP systems knowledge
