Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of a multinational pharmaceutical company. Our respected client is seeking a Senior Manager – Finance Shared Services is directly accountable for the reliable, efficient and effective operations of finance transactional services of the Company and its entities in Asia Pacific.

The role will also drive continuous process improvement and productivity initiatives, support systems implementation and related projects, based on a strong framework of compliance and controls. S/he will manage a team of 17 headcount (inclusive of 3 immediate reports), and will directly report to the Regional Finance Director based in Singapore and dotted line to the Finance Director based in the Philippines. Work setup is 2x a week work from home and 3x a week onsite, dayshift job.

  • Drive the overall direction, coordination, and service delivery of the FSS Hub
  • Achieve site-wide improvements in Operations, Quality, Productivity, Cost, Customer Experience and People metrics.
  • Build partnerships with internal and external teams to collaborate and drive measurable improvements in performance.
  • Hire and develop/coach top talent, building and fostering an engaged and motivated workforce armed with a career development roadmap to work towards.
  • Enforce a strong governance framework with the support of FSS Global Process owners
  • Participation in the design and implementation of financial systems deployment and other regional project initiatives.
  • Degree in Accounting and Finance, qualified CPA or CA
  • Minimum 12 years work experience, with leadership experience in a captive shared services or BPO environment
  • Proven experience with leading medium-large teams to high levels of performance, and in building a culture of empowerment, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Change and Process Management in-depth knowledge and proven experience.
  • Experience of creating and contributing to strategic planning processes
  • Experience in managing cost center
  • Experience as a project owner / sponsor for strategic step change initiatives
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical environments is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Strong presentation capabilities
  • Knowledge in using MS Office software (advanced navigation), comfortable with technology
