We have room for a financial controller within the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC 15 colleagues) of VolkerWessels Telecom in Nieuwegein. In this role you are the first point of contact for the controllers in the field of financial administrative processes. You think along with changes from IT and data, so that we keep up with the times and technological developments.

You will work in a team of 5 colleagues. Reliable financial administration is the basis for continuous improvement of processes within the organization. At the FSSC you are responsible for the administration of one or more business units. The business controllers ask you questions related to financial administrative processes, improvement proposals and internal control. You know how to read reports and make connections. You proactively use your financial knowledge and experience to support the business units. In addition to being responsible for a good monthly closing, you are continuously looking for ways to improve processes and implement them. We believe that being able to work on a project basis is essential to convert opportunities into concrete improvements.

• You ensure timely, transparent and reliable financial reporting from your business unit to the relevant business unit and you are a sparring partner for the controller;
• You analyze data, make intermediate connections, analyze trends from figures and inform the right colleagues based on this;
• You drive further digitization and automation of the financial processes within the financial organization;
• You stimulate, motivate, enthuse and monitor those operationally responsible within the operating companies as well as the specialists within the FSSC.

• HBO working and thinking level (Finance & control/SPD);
• At least 2 years of experience;
• You are analytical, efficient and accurate;
• An excellent command of the Dutch language;
• Experience with Excel, ERP systems (4PS / Dynamics AX or 365 is an advantage);
• Experience with or at least interested in project administrations;
• You can communicate well with different levels in the organization;
• You are reliable, customer-oriented and can work well in a team.
