Our client, a well-established manufacturing company operating across the US/Canada and deliver their diverse range of products across the globe. With 50+ years in business, they operate in a stable but growing segment of the manufacturing sector.

They are seeking a Factory Controller to oversee the accounting operations of two of its plants (Ontario & QC)

• Ensure smooth accounting operations of both plants
• Perform month-end closing activities
• Supervise the preparation of external audit files
• Participate in the development of annual operating budgets
• Supervise two small accounting teams
• Oversee cost accounting activities, inventory management, and conduct cost variance analyses
• Develop accounting improvement processes
• Occasional presence at the plant located in Ontario (approximately once per quarter)

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• CPA designation
• Experience in the manufacturing sector and team management
