An opportunity to join a dynamic private equity backed healthcare provider based in Melbourne to lead a business services transformation. This exciting opportunity is a 6-month temp to perm opportunity, reporting directly to CFO.
This is a newly created leadership role that will serve as an integral part of the project team responsible for delivering a Finance Shared Service Centre (Hub) across the wider business group. The role will involve designing, testing, and learning throughout the implementation phases. Key accountabilities include recruiting, developing, and stabilising the new Hub team, establishing trust in the Hub’s operations, and embedding efficiency and control.
This role will be reporting to the CFO and duties will include but not limited to:
- Lead efficient finance processes, meeting ‘Finance Hub’ performance goals, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Transition transactional finance tasks into shared services, building stakeholder trust in retained accountabilities.
- Ensure staff adhere to the business policies, maintaining patient privacy, and upholding professional standards.
- Develop a high-performing Finance ‘Hub’ through value-driven leadership, coaching, and skill enhancement.
- Collaborate with health and hospital finance partners, establishing effective processes and relationships
- Lead the transition of health and hospital finance tasks into a centralised service model for stability and control.
- Initiate and lead transformative projects including automation, process digitisation, and tool optimization.
- Use data to enhance hospital finance processes, collaborating with Operational, Commercial, and Finance teams.
- CA or CPA qualified
- Proven experience in centralising finance functions
- Successful management of various KPIs including financial, quality, and HR metrics
- Demonstrated ability in performance management, fostering improvement or managing exits of staff members
- Effective leadership and supervision of frontline teams, encompassing guidance, development, and constructive feedback
- Establishment and maintenance of relationships with diverse stakeholders, networks, and customers, such as commercial and finance personnel
- Skilful coordination of resource allocation, including rostering and skill mix optimization
- Implementation of impactful process improvement initiatives
- Experience in driving significant change (desirable)
- Background in the Healthcare industry (desirable)
