In this position you operationally manage all facets of the record to report (R2R) process and you maintain an overview of this entire process. Within your specialty you are responsible for the control and implementation of a wide range of tasks. As a team, you serve more than 20 companies for the KLM home market, each with its own specific characteristics, from lease accounting to fixed assets or staff and overhead accounting. You work intensively with the (international) business units within the organization and are supported by your direct Financial Support colleagues. In this level 2 position, the focus is mainly on project-based work for process improvement within this specialty.

• Reviewing the balance sheet files drawn up & prepared by Record to Report level 1 colleagues
• Identification, reporting of irregularities, informing, advising and correcting the business to ensure the correctness of the (sub)administrations in the general ledger
• Ensuring timely delivery of reports (including the balance sheet file including the balance sheet specifications)
• Initiator / Project holder in finance – improvement processes, where your division – acts across divisions

• You have a university or higher professional education (HBO) degree in finance
• Relevant knowledge & work experience and you are ready for a 3rd ^or 4th ^step in your career
• You have good communication skills, approach matters and show ownership; You have the ability to explain balance sheet positions on the one hand and to discuss this with the business from an accounting perspective on the other.
• Your Dutch and English communication is good (written and verbal).
