The Financial Senior Director will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the financial operations within our Shared Services organization. This role is responsible for driving financial strategy, optimizing processes, and ensuring the effective management of our financial resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional leadership skills, and extensive experience in a shared services environment.
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives, focusing on optimizing the performance and efficiency of the Shared Services organization.
- Financial Operations Management: Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Shared Services organization. Drive standardization and automation of financial processes across multiple locations.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of finance professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with senior management, business units, and other key stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Risk Management: Ensure robust internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets. Oversee risk management activities and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure realistic and achievable financial targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the financial health and performance of the Shared Services organization. Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in finance and shared services. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance value.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in finance, with a significant portion in a shared services environment.
- B2+ English proficiency.
- Proven track record of leading large, complex financial operations and driving process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, tools, and technologies.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
