- Develop and implement a ‘best-in-class’ continuous improvement strategy
- Identify and deliver service improvement activities across GBS through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking
- Work with key business stakeholders, and SME’s to build a continuous improvement pipeline and environment to support an ongoing program of change
- Own and drive change initiatives from efficiency identification through to project delivery, leveraging internal governance and controls
- Lead and facilitate LEAN/process improvement based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
- Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better ways of working
- Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system
- BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience. MBA or Master’s degree desirable
- Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt
- Minimum 5-7 years proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis
- Deep demonstrable Functional end-to-end expertise within Source to Report, Contracts, Procure to Pay, 3rd Party Risk Management, Compliance & Controls preferred
- Excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mapping
- Experience of designing or implementing a framework of continuous improvement and Lean solutions
- Experience of designing remediation plans to address productivity and efficiency issues, and track record of following through to ensure closure
- Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
- Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between
- Skilled at building relationships (senior leaders across Finance and a broader organization) to drive organizational priorities.
- Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels.
- Conflict management expertise. Able to effectively resolve conflicts between individual needs and requirements of the organization and across multiple teams with differing business requirements
- Outstanding communication skills (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
- Experienced in managing and coaching direct reports
