We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Services Director to lead the establishment and operationalization of the new Global Services Center. This role is critical in driving the overall design, implementation, and management of the SSC, ensuring it meets our organizational goals and delivers exceptional service to internal stakeholders.
Strategic Planning & Implementation
- Lead the end-to-end setup of the Shared Services Center, from initial concept to full operationalization.
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for the SSC, aligning with the company’s overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define the vision, mission, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the SSC.
Process & System Design
- Oversee the design and standardization of processes across multiple functions such as Finance, HR, IT, Procurement, and other business services.
- Ensure the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Manage the selection and integration of technology platforms and tools that will support SSC operations.
Talent Acquisition & Development
- Build and lead a high-performing team by recruiting, training, and retaining top talent.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the SSC.
- Develop and implement training programs to upskill staff and ensure knowledge transfer.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all SSC-related matters, liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with global business units to align SSC services with their needs.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on SSC performance and progress.
Financial & Operational Management
- Manage the SSC’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while delivering high-quality services.
- Monitor and report on SSC performance against KPIs, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA or relevant master’s degree is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in shared services or ssc consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in setting up and managing a Shared Services Center or similar operation.
- Extensive experience in process design, transformation, and continuous improvement.
