As Indirect Tax Manager you will manage all the Indirect tax obligations in a Region that includes Italy (12 companies) and all of Europe (about 50 companies, including also South Africa, East, UAE) of EssilorLuxottica Group.

• Management of all the VAT obligations in scope, calculation of periodic payments, and approval of fulfilments (VAT settlements, VAT returns, VAT payments)
• Management of the team and definition of priorities and support on various issues (planning, regulatory, operational)
• Monitoring national and international regulatory monitoring and consequent adjustments of flows
• Analysis of contracts to assess the tax impacts on domestic and international transactions (VAT regimes, application withholdings and therefore analysis of the treaties)
• Fiscal analysis (VAT and withholdings) on Business projects (Logistics, IT, Operations, Procurement, Marketing), in coordination with Corporate Tax Dept.
• Propose solutions to improve business efficiency (legitimate tax savings, risk reduction, cash flow improvements)
• Propose solutions to simplify compliance (simplifications, implementation of IT solutions – VAT tool)
• Periodic discussion with non-centralized branches on tax issues – EMEA VAT governance (quarterly meetings with branches, support on regulatory changes, tax issues (VAT, withholding))
• Management of Budget costs of the function and relationship with consultants

• You have excellent english knowledge. Any other EMEA languages are considered a plus (spanish, portoguese, french, german, russian and arabic)
• You have at least 6/8 years of experience in Tax field for Multinational Groups with different businesses
• You believe that without your team nothing is possible
• You had experience in People Management
• Solid experience with SAP ERP
