The GBS Operations Manager is responsible for LAO’s GBS agenda becoming a key facilitator in developing initiatives and ensuring the GBS strategy is delivered on the path to becoming an IBS. Contributes to the engine of value creation in results while monitoring stable operation in all services. The candidate will be committed to understanding the needs and opportunities of BP and GBS areas to create and execute plans and roadmaps in pursuit of expense efficiencies, team productivity, and assistance in service expansion.
- Support actions, programs, projects, and needs of the general management of the GBS
- Guarantee the adequate annual budget process for GBS expenses, updating the quarterly forecast and managing the monthly playbook. Guarantee expense control and timely management of deviations
- Seek opportunities to maximize spending efficiencies, improve business metrics such as FCF, and promote a culture of value generation.
- Influence the GBS leadership line to specify reporting times, quality of information, and improvements required by other Stakeholders, audits, or other external requirements.
- Influence different teams and levels of the organization to guarantee the fulfillment of goals, generating adherence to the organizational strategy.
- Being one of the main sponsors of the GBS to IBS strategy, and serving as a guide to other sponsors of the program, this role must guarantee the execution of the GBS to IBS strategy promptly.
- Stay close to the Stakeholders and monitor the level of satisfaction with the service received from the GBS.
- Adequately safeguard the company’s financial assets.
- Support Automation, continuous improvement, People, and communications initiatives
- Proactivity and creativity to suggest actions that improve the organization’s results and ways of working.
- Bachelor in finances, business administration, or related.
- More than 9 years of experience working with finance roles, finance projects, or any experience working related to GBS, Shared services, or intelligence business services.
- Proficient in English (C1 or plus)
- 5 years of experience related to budgeting, budget control, and organizational productivity.
- Experience with continuous improvement.
- Experience working with complex projects of business transformation
- Nice to have knowledge in process improvement methodology (Lean Six Sigma or related)
- Automatization experience (nice to have)
- Portuguese (nice to have)
