A Germany-wide network in the healthcare industry is in the exciting phase of restructuring and is looking for a dedicated General Ledger Specialist (f/m/d) for the shared service center in the beautiful Hamburg Hafencity.
- General ledger management and account reconciliation: Responsibility for all business transactions in the general ledger, detailed account reconciliations and clarification of issues
- Intercompany coordination: Ensuring smooth cooperation between different companies through intercompany coordination
- Contact person: In: Technical support for related departments and external tax advisors
- Annual financial statements: Independent preparation of annual financial statements (HGB) for individual companies and transition to IFRS
- Integration: Integration of new units into the system landscape and purchase price distribution during initial consolidation
- Sales tax: Monthly sales tax return for all companies
- Further development and optimization: Proactive contribution of specialist knowledge to further develop financial accounting and optimize internal processes and standards
- Completed commercial training with a focus on finance and accounting or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a corporate environment
- Familiarity with corporate law changes and mergers
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to further develop and optimize
- Extensive experience in general ledger management and account reconciliation
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Expertise in the independent preparation of annual financial statements according to HGB and conversion to IFRS
