Leading role within an ambitious organization with a lot of expertise and technical know-how. Formulating and implementing the strategic plan with a focus on margin growth and doubling turnover over 3-5 years. Head of a three-person management team.
- Update strategic plan, translate into operational objectives and implement actions. Strengthen market focus, aimed at key accounts and wanted new clients; generate additional projects in the pipeline, also with new clients. Optimize sales and business development approach.
- Further building on the competencies of employees, developing and attracting new people. Steering and stimulating effective collaboration with stakeholders, including colleagues in the group.
- Developing your own vision on the market, the distinguishing features and the most important focus segments, customers, prospects and supplier partners.
- Building a strong market position together with the team and ensuring healthy growth in turnover and margin.
- Continuously improve and optimize business processes and customer satisfaction.
- Creating a great place to work. Transparent, ownership and focused on effective collaboration.
- Reporting to the CEO and managing director, co-leading with a sales manager and technical & operations manager.
- At least a bachelor’s degree in, for example, (Technical) Business Administration or Commercial Economics.
- Min. 5 years of successful experience as ultimately responsible, for example as GM, or Country Sales Director for a business unit or commercial business unit in a technically related, B2B industrial engineering, value added distribution and/or assembly environment.
- Financial affinity, experience with budgeting and forecasting.
- Used to managing a broad group of stakeholders, preferably including partners/suppliers and in a matrix organization (incl. shared services).
- An enterprising business driver and people manager, leading by example.
- Fluent Dutch and English, French and/or German is an advantage.
