Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the Canadian market, aligning with the company’s global objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of initiatives to expand the company’s market presence across key regions in Canada.
- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships to position the company as a market leader.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry partners, and government bodies to support market growth.
- Work with indirect sales team to implement a professional Partner network, programs, and infrastructure.
Team Building and Management:
- Recruit, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team to ensure successful execution of country level goals.
- Manage and hold sales team accountable for sales pipeline and adjacency growth ideas.
Brand Development:
- Collaborate with Americas marketing team to develop and execute marketing and branding strategies to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation in the Canadian market and to create localized campaigns and messaging.
- Represent Hexagon at industry events and associations, conduct customer events and training workshops.
Financial Management:
- Own the country P/L and provide oversight to sales and internal team on supply planning and forecasting to ensure flawless execution to customers. Improve profitability through cost and productivity savings.
- Drive pricing and contracting discipline to grow margins and overall profitability of the country.
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in market expansion, preferably within a similar industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in marketing/commercial roles.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian market, regulatory landscape, and industry dynamics.
- Experience operating in a matrix environment with a strong shared services approach.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing market expansion strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
