  • Oversees service delivery and the day-to-day operations of the GBS, ensuring that all standards are met, and procedures are followed. Preparing schedules monthly, weekly, daily for a seamless operations ensuring that processes run timely, efficiently, accurately to support Business and Operational needs across HUBs.
  • Establishes priorities and schedules of Activities considering HUB needs.
  • Supervises employees, motivate and handhold them in repeat processes environment. Managing shifts in different time zones.
  • Reviews and monitors GBS-related services to identify trends and problem areas, reporting on risks, key performance indicators and proposed corrective action or new approaches.
  • Develops and implements new work methods and procedures for the GBS to improve efficiency and process improvement in consultation with all HUBs on a continuous basis.
  • Prepares and monitors the GBS budget, billing to other HUBs.
  • Plans and monitors staffing overseeing recruitment and any other administrative functions related to the smooth functioning of the GBS. Continuous engagement with HR and Recruitment will be required.
  • Supervises staff, managing performance, staff development, training and careers.
  • Oversees and ensures the smooth functioning of information systems required to deliver the services and the definition and implementation of changes required to maintain the systems operational and fit for purpose. Continuous engagement with IT responsible will be required.
  • Defines and ensures the implementation of Service Level Agreements; sets standards for quality and ensures that operational activities are implemented in accordance with recognized procedures and guidelines to meet the established standards.
  • Establishes quality control mechanisms such as surveys, periodic data quality assurance reviews, error escalation procedure.
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) from ICAI qualification is added advantage. CMA (Cost and Management Accountant) from ICMAI / MBA (Finance) from an Institute of repute shall be considered for deserving candidate.
  • IFRS/ IND-AS working knowledge is preferred.
  • Oracle based experience would be an added advantage.
  • Post qualification experience of managing Shared Services of 8 to 10 years. Setting up SSC / transition experience will be an added advantage.
  • Clear leader personality – ability to engage and positively direct the team and rally behind a common goal.
  • Ability to continuously engage and connect within team, with HUBs extensively to keep pulse on the requirements.
  • Hands-on, “can do” mentality – positive thinking, ability to positively contribute
  • Ability to learn and adapt as per needs.
  • Spoken and written high level proficiency of English language is must. Knowledge of Foreign languages would be an added advantage.
