We have the ambition to Transform and modernize our Shared Services with the enablement of Advanced Technology that will make our Operations Smarter and Future ready. We are looking for a Dynamic Leader who has experience in deploying Tech and Analytics in Shared Services / GBS organizations

Reporting to the VP Finance Shared Services, as the Global Capabilities Director you will oversee the strategic and delivery aspects of leading the Automation and Analytics organization for HARMAN Shared Services. This is a leadership position responsible for driving efficiency, Transforming Operations and delivering Business Value for the Finance Shared services and involves a combination of strategic planning, leadership, and operational management.

• Collaborate with Internal (and potentially, external teams) to develop a Digitization Strategy for the Shared Services
• Partner with Finance Leaders across the organization to identify problem statements and develop solutions to solve them sustainably and digitally
• Solutions will involve capabilities across Process Mining, Integrated Business Planning, Reporting Automation, Process Automation and Advanced Analytics
• Develop and Manage the investment budget ensuring every investment has a favourable payback
• Oversee the day to day operations of the development and run team that will report into you
• Ensure all solutions comply with organization tech roadmap and architecture and fully compliant
• Provide coaching, mentoring and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, excellence, and quality within the department.
• Chairs joint governance forums with the CFO and senior Business Leadership too ensure transparency in service delivery operations, performance, and cost.
• Establishes, develops, and maintains critical customer relationships to anticipate, plan, address and resolve complex escalated issues.
• Stay up to date on Tech trends and best practices for process or technology improvement opportunities.

Needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science
• Master’s degree in Management, Business or other related fields (preferred)
• Minimum 10 years’ leadership experience in the technology and analytics space
• Working knowledge of multiple technologies such as Celonis, RPA, Data Engineering tools, Web Apps, Algo & deep learning products
• Strong business and commercial acumen with appreciation for the connection between talent propositions and business results
• Experience in planning and executing large-scale transformation initiatives from the envisioning stage through to implementation.
• Execution and operational excellence with deep experience and skills in driving cost, quality, and business outcomes.
• Demonstrated aptitude to seek external best practices, industry research and benchmarking to identify and prioritize new sources of value.
• Demonstrated progressive leadership skills in developing high- performing teams.
• Ability to define and communicate annual goals and develop action plans needed for accomplishing plans.
• Ability to present data and recommendations in a meaningful way.
• Articulate, confident and fluent communication skills.
• Experience working directly with senior business executives in an advisory capacity.
• Strong interpersonal skills across multiple regions and cultures.

Nice to Have

• Experience in developing solutions across shared services center functions such as finance, HR, marketing, procurement etc.
