The Change Director at Haleon Business Services (HBS) will hold a crucial global leadership position pivotal in steering and articulating significant organizational transformations as HBS evolves into a multifunctional business services entity. This role involves comprehensive accountability of change management processes for HBS and driving the change agenda. It involves working closely with key partners in business, change and communication – both at the group level and in various business units/ functions, as required. It involves ensuring smooth transitions and alignment among all stakeholders during HBS’s transformation journey.
The role will include devising, managing and executing change effectively with various internal and external audiences. The change management director will demonstrate a high level of independence and leadership, with significant focus on stakeholder management, change management, and strategic communication. Furthermore, the Change Director will develop, manage, and bolster the implementation of HBS’s vision and strategic initiatives by mobilizing teams both within and external to HBS through various change initiatives. These will be closely related to the various change initiatives, and the communication, culture, and people agenda related to these changes.
By supporting the HBS Service Development, Partner Relationship Management (PRM) and Region-country transformation teams, the role is required to support successful business transition and ultimately transformation through buy-in to, and adoption of, the multi-functional enhanced business processes that HBS will be delivering and the Continuous Excellence framework it is putting in place. This in turn will help mitigate risk of disruption to the business at Go-Live and put in place mechanisms to support in-country (& in-region) benefits realization.
The jobholder is responsible for ensuring that Region-Country & Functions Business Transformation/Change Management Leads and their change teams identify and assess, amongst other things, change impacts, business readiness and stakeholder related barriers and drivers for change. As a result, these teams will be expected to jointly formulate plans to support the engagement and knowledge development processes critical to generating buy-in, capability and capacity for successful and sustainable performance improvement.
As the range of HBS services extends to multi functional, value add and complex digital solutions and services, the role will increasingly involve engaging with business leaders to challenge them to increase the scale of activities that HBS delivers to the business and allowing them to focus their time on winning in market. This will be done alongside the PRM/Business partnering teams and Service Development.
This role will liaise and work very closely with the communications colleagues in the Corporate Affairs team, especially with the communications partner for HBS. Collaborating closely with senior leaders, the director will provide expert advice on change management within their improvement programs, aiming to ensure that the wider HBS and involved teams and colleagues are excited, engaged, and well-prepared to advance the HBS strategy.
