Our client is a global IPP with a presence across multiple geographies backed my multiple international and local lenders.

• Lead and manage the entire engineering team, including project engineers, design engineers, and field engineers.
• Develop and implement the company’s engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of the engineering lifecycle for renewable energy projects, from feasibility studies and permitting to construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Champion innovation and identify new technologies and solutions to optimize project performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, codes, and environmental regulations.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., construction, operations, finance) and external partners (e.g., contractors, suppliers).
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing engineering team environment, providing mentorship and development opportunities.

• 20+years of experience in engineering, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong academic background in engineering or environmental science (Masters degree preferred).
• Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
• Demonstrated success in developing, constructing, and operating solar energy projects in the USA.
• Strong understanding of relevant engineering principles, construction practices, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable engineering plans.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and engineering software.
