We are seeking a seasoned Global HR Business Process Owner (BPO) to lead the implementation of our outsourced HR shared services and manage it moving forward. This role will be pivotal in driving the standardization, efficiency, and continuous improvement of global HR processes within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the partnership with our outsourced service provider, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services that align with the organization’s strategic goals.

Leadership and Management:

  • Oversee the integration of the outsourced provider’s services into HR operations, ensuring that the outsourced processes are fully aligned with our internal systems and business objectives.
  • Responsible for managing the relationship with our outsourced provider throughout the implementation, resolving any escalations, and ensuring that the transition to steady-state operations is smooth and effective.
  • Lead the global HR business processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall HR strategy and business objectives.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the outsourced HR shared services team ensuring that service delivery meets or exceeds agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and the outsourced service provider, fostering a collaborative partnership and ensuring effective communication.

Process Ownership

  • Own and manage end-to-end HR processes, including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee data management, and offboarding.
  • Drive standardization, optimization, and automation of HR processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve employee experience.
  • Monitor and analyze HR process performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with key HR and business stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that HR shared services are aligned with organizational goals.
  • Communicate changes, updates, and improvements in HR processes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and consistency across the organization.
  • Provide regular updates to senior HR leadership on the performance of the shared services team and the status of key HR initiatives.

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function, leveraging the capabilities of the outsourced service provider to enhance service delivery.
  • Identify and implement best practices across the HR organization, driving innovation and process excellence.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging HR technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact HR processes.

Risk Management And Compliance

  • Ensure that all HR processes comply with local and international labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with outsourced HR services and HR processes.
  • Develop and maintain HR business continuity plans to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical HR services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent; or at least 7+ years of experience in HR operations, business process management, or shared services
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in managing outsourced HR service providers, preferably in a global context
  • Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional HR projects
  • Prior experience with HR technologies and tools, such as HRIS, payroll systems, and workflow automation tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or MBA preferred
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers like Genpact or similar in an HR context
  • Strong understanding of HR process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage HR and business leaders at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex HR data and make data-driven decisions
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or HR process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, HRBP)
  • Experience in a multinational corporation with a complex, global HR operational structure
