The Global HR Governance Manager will act globally as a subject matter expert for HR Governance (e.g. HR end2end process optimization and preparing the HR organization towards integration with the BASF HR systems.

Global HR Governance

  • Lead the development and implementation of the HR end2end policies, processes & procedures, providing global HR frameworks for local implementation
  • Lead global HR initiatives and -projects in the HR end-to-end Framework (e.g., standardization, harmonization and optimizing of key HR processes, policies and HR (IT) systems)
  • Set-up, train and coach the HR community and business stakeholders in improved Global HR processes, policies and guidelines
  • Develop the HR IT roadmap for the coming years, providing guidance and align with key stakeholders in Vegetable Seeds Business Enabling IT & BASF HR (AP)
  • Provide global overview of HR audit results including aligning with Global HRBP’s / regional contact to ensure a correct and timely follow-up on audit-requirements in HR
  • Support the Global HRBP OPE in managing and optimizing the service of the outsourcing partner (TCS) and global Backoffice HR solutions.

Global HR reporting

  • Designs and implements Global HR metrics (Global HR dashboard) and support the HR Analytics specialist in the design and implementation of HR dashboard(s).
  • Designs improved current HR analytic tools and bring them to a next level via the design and implementation of HR IT systems (e.g., workforce planning, talent management, improving use of Success Factors tool to improve the (digital) manager and employee experience
  • Aligns on FMC key KPI’s and analytics, together with the Talent Manager and the HR analytics specialist
  • Lead projects to ensure accurate and consistent Global HR Master data, working with Vegetable Seeds IT & BASF GB organization to ensure a correct interfacing.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Human Resources or people-related fields, or a bachelor’s with at least 10-12 years of relevant experience
  • Expert in HR processes with proven experience (at least 3 years) in the preparation and set-up of HR Shared Services, preferably in an international setting
  • Strong in stakeholder management and the ability to steer and organize a community without reporting lines
  • Intellectual capacity to think abstractly and develop concepts and visual reporting (tools)
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation, coaching and training skills
  • Strong in projectmanagement
  • IT and data savvy
  • Excellent in HR (IT) systems, MS Office, SAP, Visio and related HR analytics & reporting tools
