- Provide strategic and operational direction of HR Shared Services including defining the operational model, process design and improvement, systems work and technology, budgets, vendor selection, and talent management
- Design and deliver a best-in-class service for our internal and external customers. Build a strong team, multi-skilled in all aspects which is highly motivated and engaged.
- Define, monitor, and ensure the delivery of a comprehensive set of performance metrics that are relevant to the Shared Services Operating Model
- Provides leadership and ownership in determining SLA, determining control standards, and identifying issue escalation matrix
- Design and successful delivery of processes, as well as leading the progression of the function and the broadening of the scope of services provided
- Statistical reporting to internal management and external agencies
- May be accountable for selecting and managing outsourcing vendors
- Typically manages a department or small unit that includes multiple teams led by Managers and/or Team Leaders.
- Requires the ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches, and the ability to communicate and influence executive leadership.
- Partner with the Project Management Office on programs, and projects leading towards world-class employee and new hire experience
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in people operations or shared service fields.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced start-up environment. Fast leader. Adaptable to changes and challenges.
- Change improvements experience. Ability to prioritize, push for desirable results, and delegate.
- Ability to adopt standard processes while applying customized approaches based on different cases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
