As a Global Portfolio Lead – Finance, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Finance programs and initiatives within Takeda Business Solutions (TBS).
- Ensure the delivery of measurable business value, quality, and cost savings through project and portfolio implementation.
- Support and coach project managers in planning, managing, and executing a portfolio of global projects.
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across and outside TBS, ensuring alignment and successful project lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive initiatives and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Provide regular project updates to TBS leaders, actively managing risks and interdependencies.
- Act as a point of contact for a portfolio of global projects, ensuring alignment of critical project information.
- Contribute to project and program-related analysis, business case development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive the continuous development and evolution of PDS project management capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance/accounting/human resources/project management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, human resources, or project management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading cross-functional project teams.
- Previous experience in leading transformation and program/project management across multiple domains and countries.
- Business fluency in English (writing and speaking).
- Advanced user knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Deploy analytical, structured, and impact-oriented mind-set.
- Exceptional decision-making ability.
- Ability to form strong, trusted, and sustainable working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management qualification/ certification (PMP, PRINCE2) and/ or LEAN six sigma qualification.
- Deep functional knowledge in several domain areas (Finance, Procurement, and People Solutions).
- Good knowledge of shared service processes and ways of working.
- Good knowledge of ServiceNow and/or SAP and/or Workday and/or Ariba.
- Proficient user knowledge of Smartsheet.
