The Payroll Global Process Owner sets Worley’s global vision and strategy for our end-to-end Payroll processes. Owns the process design to drive optimisation, performance and compliance across all geographies, functions, and business units. Leverages the delivery capability in the organisation to enable Worley’s strategic aspirations.

The Global Process Owner will have significant authority, autonomy, and accountability to fundamentally shift the way processes are owned and managed at Worley. A critical enabler in the establishment of a global process framework at Worley.
Focus on end-to-end process design, documentation, architecture including enabling systems, data, controls and policies. Monitor end to end process performance and compliance globally. Enable projects and initiatives to drive continuous process improvement globally.

Payroll Process Strategy
- Set and implement the vision and drive strategic direction for global end to end process excellence, enterprise wide.
- Establishing targets and KPIs to ensure process performance meets critical, strategic business requirements.
- Running Process Boards to agree the process transformation roadmap, review projects status, prioritize and approve new projects and automation initiatives.
- In scope processes are Shared services Global Payroll, Local country Managed Payroll and International Payroll identified in the process taxonomy.
Payroll Process Design
- Benchmark processes against leading practice and identify gaps.
- Define global process taxonomy and design.
- Ensure alignment between Payroll processes, adjacent functions, and processes globally.
- Continuous improvement to enhance process efficiency, effectiveness and compliance while optimising Resolve issues.
- Effective documentation of global process blueprints, procedures, local exceptions, and changes
Payroll Process Oversight
- Oversee the monitoring and analysis of process compliance and performance.
- Set and maintain process level master data standards within the context of the global policy and monitoring adherence.
- Monitor process audit outcomes, standardisation/harmonisation of objectives, targets, priorities and projects across process area to inform and drive improvement initiatives.
Payroll Programme & Project Management
- Rationalising, prioritizing and approving/rejecting projects based on strategic relevance, business case and feasibility.
- Initiate project launch, seeking and gaining funding, outline project plan, change management and resourcing.
- Continuous monitoring of inflight transformation projects to ensure they deliver.
- Accountable for budget for transformation initiatives
You are a seasoned professional with expertise in large and complex payrolls for global organisations. You are a payroll subject matter expert, who is confident in owning the end-to-end payroll, coupled with experience as a GPO within a large-scale multinational, complex, matrix organisation. You can s et and manage priorities, resources, performance targets and project initiatives in a global and regional environment. You’ll bring a p roven track record of managing complex programme portfolios and delivering measurable success. Excellence in process improvement, change management, agile methodology, six sigma, lean, innovation methodology, design thinking with certification is desirable.
Strong process ownership and management methodologies and in-depth knowledge of process mapping, analysis and optimisation techniques. It is essential you can demonstrate your experience in the full end to end process design, possess a high degree of coordination and stakeholder management engagement. Bring in -depth knowledge of process mapping, analysis and optimisation techniques.
Familiarity with ERP systems, workflow automation tools, and data management systems. Ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process optimization based on data analysis. Advanced ability to develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes.

Your communication and work style enables you to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels and gain by-in and successful outcomes. Inspires others, dynamic leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint. Experienced using cloud-based tech platforms to manage Workforce processes, such as Oracle and ServiceNow. Experience in working with HRIS, Payroll and timesheet systems, including knowledge of how data integrates into Record to Report systems.
Qualified in Human Resources or equivalent tertiary degree.
