This is position is part of our Business Transformation Solutions team, with the key goal to develop and deploy an industry-leading, ‘One Novartis’ HCP Events and Engagement management (3EM) platform that will improve our reputation in the marketplace when engaging HCPs and other external parties in events and the efficiency of our teams that run and manage these events. This role will also support our team make a step change in how we engage external parties for contracted services, through developing, implementing and continually evolving an end-to-end business process and enabling systems landscape. Specifically, you will define, prioritize, develop and implement features and requirements in line with the product vision, and work with key stakeholders and other related product areas to implement the end-to-end solution for Novartis.
- Take ownership for the design of the service provider engagement features of the solution, ensuring the foundation now in place continues to evolve and be embedded across Novartis
- Leads the management of diverse stakeholders (internal and external customers), ensures full visibility of ongoing project’s progress, leads delivery of engagements and associated outputs, supports the team in engagement work/project management and delivers high-quality results
- Consolidate, align and triage new feature requests arising from the user base, for review and prioritization within the product backlog
- Support the existing user base in improving the value they acquire from the solution through defining processes for how they should achieve required outcomes in the system, applying enterprise standards wherever possible
- Support deployment team resources in educating new users on the solution, and how to adapt their local processes to the enterprise standard
- Give to an environment that develops a collaborative, innovative and impactful organization where product methodology is leveraged to build new value for the business.
- Advocate the product methodology to the business and shapes operating model to ensure business value creation throughout the product life cycle.
- Leverage agile ways of working for product development/delivery/lifecycle.
- Around 12-15 years of business transformation experience in management consulting, leading medium to large complexity projects
- Experience working in product teams or innovation or startups or digital/tech highly desirable, experience working on technical or analytical projects, with a deep understanding of customers
- At least 5 years of people management experience, through direct reports and / or leading large teams across cross functional groups in an organization
- Obsessed about impact – motivated by vision and demonstrating outcomes, not just talking, or creating PowerPoints
- Entrepreneurial, agile, non-hierarchical approach, constantly seeking better by gathering insights and using data feedback loops to iterate and re-invent, to better address the problems customers are trying to solve with solutions
- Collaborative and creative working in small cross-functional teams, empowered to discover, own, and solve problems creatively
- Excellence in soft skills to effectively work with diverse set of senior collaborators in the organization
- Open to new insights and alternative perspectives; able to adjust and flex as needed to the customer
- Influence at various levels and across diverse groups/divisions
