Our Global Services HR team has an opportunity for an experienced HR Director to join our HR Business Partnering team. As a Global Services HR Director, you will serve as a strategic business partner and primary point of contact for people leaders in Enterprise Services for organizational topics.

The Enterprise Services organization was set up in 2022 to provide innovative, resilient, and scalable services to BCGers around the world. It includes a range of business-critical services and solutions including Travel, Meetings & Events, Case Team Services, Client View, Real Estate, Executive Support Services, and Business Insights and Analytics; supported by transversal expertise in our product portfolios and excellence functions.

  • Operate as a key business partner and subject matter expert to Enterprise Services through business knowledge, HR expertise, relationship management and proactive interventions.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on organizational and team design, location decisions, career pathing, performance management and capability-building, in line with the Enterprise Services people strategy.
  • Be a proactive, approachable and highly visible member of the New Delhi office and be the point person for Enterprise Services HR for assigned client groups, supported by the HR Operations, HR Shared Services and Recruiting teams.
  • Partner with senior leadership in the New Delhi office to create a culture of positivity, innovation and service-orientation for Enterprise Services colleagues.
  • Stay closely connected with our Recruiting teams to ensure that the Enterprise Services resource plan is executed efficiently to equip the organization with first-class talent within the required parameters.
  • Oversee career development for Enterprise Services employees, ensuring vibrant and effective development opportunities and compelling growth trajectories.
  • Analysis, interpretation and communication of employee engagement survey outcomes and contribution to the creation of related action plans.
  • Act as a catalyst for change; guides and influences organizational design, development and change management solutions. Leads the implementation of organizational change from a people perspective, collaborating closely with our Communications lead.
  • Uses analytics and trend analysis to help shape HR strategies and processes to support business objectives.
  • Collaborates to develop robust talent management plans to attract, retain, develop and engage talent in critical roles and ensure strong succession plans.
  • Partners with the HR teams of other GS functions to execute GSHR initiatives.
  • A strong track record as a HR Business Partner in a consensus-driven, intellectually intense and matrix-structured environment.
  • Several years experience in a global role, reporting to a leader located in a different region.
  • A proven ability to drive business value (ideally during rapid growth & change) through effective people initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Successful in building trust & credibility with senior leaders and influencing in high-stakes scenarios.
  • A depth of experience in employee development, management coaching, organizational design, recruiting, compensation, employee relations and HR project management and program implementation.
  • A positive, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Structured thinking and the skills to translate ideas into a coherent proposal/presentation/argument.
  • Clear, concise verbal communication skills, with absolutely fluency in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, coupled with skills & confidence to operate autonomously
  • Ability to handle competing priorities with flexibility, whilst maintaining strategic alignment.
  • Ability to manage projects in a timely manner whilst keeping stakeholders engaged & informed.
  • Excellent coaching and facilitation skills, with experience of leading workshops and presenting at meetings.
  • Analytical skills with ability to use data to form hypotheses, draw insights, form narratives, and to prioritize and influence decisions. Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills a must.
  • Ability to use experience and judgment to make decisions that may be based on partial information.
  • An in-depth understanding of the New Delhi market for talent and experience of living & working in India and familiarity with the nuances of Indian culture.
  • Experience of working with colleagues from different parts of the world, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and an ability to develop relationships in a virtual context.
  • A sense of humour and an appetite to be part of a friendly, committed and progressive HR team.

Preferred:

  • Progression within an international HR team in global partnership organization
  • Sound knowledge of Indian employment law and practice
  • Experience of living & working in the US or in Europe
  • Workday super-user
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar
  • Professional qualification in HR
  • Formal coaching certification
