We are seeking a qualified and dynamic individual for the position of Global Shared Services Deputy Director. This role is critical to supporting the Shared Services Director in delivering smooth operations and bridging strategy with execution.

  • Create and implement plans for shared services activities, such as control tower management, customs brokerage, and air, sea, and road operations.
  • Align operations with organizational objectives, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage the daily activities of shared services centers to sustain productivity and performance.
  • Drive best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor managers and team leaders within the shared services framework.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across teams.
  • Establish and manage budgets for shared services operations.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational challenges, driving timely resolutions.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Utilize technology to optimize and enhance shared services operations.
  • Oversee the implementation of tools and systems to improve workflows and productivity.
  • Master’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field is preferred.
  • More than 10 years of experience in shared services, operations, or similar roles, with proven expertise in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred background includes shared services operations and the 3PL industry.
  • Preferred certifications include PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or credentials in relevant areas such as HR or finance.
  • Familiarity with CW1, workflow automation tools, analytics platforms, and a solid understanding of performance metrics and SLA management.
  • Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English
