In the Group Expenses Manager role you will be an integral part of the Group FP&A team; supporting the business to make effective decisions on the Group’s expense base through analysing data and providing key insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Lead the Group Head Office (GHO) expense results, this includes managing the GHO cost base, providing analysis that supports organisational cost initiatives, facilitating regular reviews and challenge to senior stakeholders and ensuring that an adequate control framework is in place
• Financial management of the Group’s expense base through regular monitoring and insights of the Group’s expense outcomes
• Engagement with the Divisions on their expense run-rates and plans to deliver expense targets
• Support the Head of Group Expenses & Transformation on strategic initiatives
• Manage an onshore team, as well as supervision of offshore support roles in the Group Shared Service Centre (GSSC)
• Engage senior stakeholders on strategic expense initiatives and provide value-add analysis along with clear and concise insights and communication
• Design and execute strategic projects, including governance, process improvement and data quality outcomes

• Proven experience in expense management, financial analysis, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and strategic mindset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Proficient in using expense management software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in the Insurance industry is desirable but not required
