The Saudi Tadawul Group was established in March 2021, following the transformation of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) into a Holding Group structure. It is the parent company with a portfolio of four subsidiaries, which operate independently while benefitting from the integration and synergies between one another.

The subsidiaries include: The Saudi Exchange, a dedicated stock exchange business, the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa), the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) and Wamid – a new innovative applied technology services business, focused on providing innovation and nascent technologies to the capital markets industry through pragmatic innovation.

The Group aims to advance the Saudi capital market’s infrastructure in line with global best practices, while reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as an emerging market leader, a technologically advanced and attractive global investment destination and the gateway to the MENA region.

It looks to support with the successful delivery of Saudi Arabia’s Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP) objectives, as part of Vision 2030, to boost economic growth and diversify the economy.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the execution of a clear strategy for the Shared Services activities that delivers high quality, effective and efficient services.
  • Direct the overall performance and cost of services to ensure accountabilities for the quality integrity and accuracy.
  • Manage the delivery of effective governance across the Shared Services portfolio across Saudi Tadawul Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Evaluate and respond effectively to highly sensitive and contentious issues to ensure that financial, reputational, and business risks are minimized.
  • Drive the development and effective business planning by automating workflows.
  • Oversee a periodic review and evaluation of existing services performance and feedback channels to identify areas of for improvement.

Key Accountabilities

  • Direct and control departmental projects to ensure project cycle completion and commitment to the company’s guidelines and quality.
  • Ensure effective utilization of the department’s allocated budget, and report accurately on progress and challenges manage all the department staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
  • Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate team(s), and offer regular feedback on performance.
  • Provide clear top-down communication to employees and down-top feedback to the Executive Team.
  • Direct and control the department’s staff to ensure that they are appropriately motivated and trained and carry out their responsibilities to the required standards.
  • Comply with communication and information sharing/handling policy to ensure confidentiality of the information and comply with all relevant risk and information security procedures to ensure operating within the acceptable risk levels.
  • Direct the development and implementation of the department’s policies, procedures, and processes covering all areas of the department’s activities to ensure the fulfillment of all work requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and processes throughout the department in order to achieve the company’s operational excellence.

Education and Certifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, MIS or equivalent is mandatory, Master’s Degree is preferred.

Knowledge and Experience

  • 8 + years of experience in shared services, business excellence or equivalent
