Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head for Communications and Branding. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead corporate communication and employer branding activities within a global company. The successful candidate will be instrumental in strengthening the brand position, providing strategic communication and direction across the organization. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring a cross-disciplinary approach to engage within the team
As the Senior Vice President for Communications and Branding, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client’s brand identity. You will manage both external and internal communications, ensuring alignment with global strategies while catering to local needs. Your leadership skills will be crucial as you build and guide your own team towards achieving communication excellence. You will also be responsible for managing the communication budget effectively, always striving to maximise return on investment. Monitoring and measuring the success of all marketing/communications activity will be key to inform future strategies.
- Manage external communication, PR, marketing and employer branding activities on the local market
- Work in close collaboration with the global communication & marketing network
- Manage internal communication across the local organisation, aligning with internal stakeholders and the management team
- Build and lead the local communication team
- Manage the communication budget
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of all marketing/communications activity
- Lead corporate communication and employer branding activities within a global shared service centre
- Strengthen the brand position and provide strategic communication direction
- Engage with tech & operations communities in a strategic and hands-on role
The ideal candidate for this Senior Vice President for Communications and Branding role brings extensive experience in strategic marketing/communications, including at least five years in a managerial position. You have a proven track record of developing and delivering effective communication strategies across various budgets and channels. Your excellent written and oral communication skills enable you to engage effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders. As a resilient leader, you are adept at empowering your colleagues, building capability within your team, and driving excellence.
- At least 10 years of work experience in strategic marketing/communications
- At least 5 years experience in a managerial position
- Proven track record in development and delivery of strategic communication and marketing across a range of budgets and channels
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to engage with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Resilient leader, able to empower colleagues and build capability
